Visit to Haze Lounge

Yesterday I had a chance to visit the Haze Lounge in Mississauga. It was actually on of my friends birthday so we decided to celebrate it there.

We reached around 7 pm, there was ample parking the time we arrived. The exterior was well clean and nicely lit.

Upon entering we were given a warm welcome by 2 people standing at the front. After asking how many people were dinning with us they asked us the option of sitting. Either at the lounge or the dining area. We chose the dinning area.

We were the first in the dinning room at that time. Our server a very friendly person handed us the menu and pointed towards a button present on the tables which was marked as “Call” which meant we should press that once we are ready to order food.

The menu covered wide of appetizers, drinks, and their specialty which was they offered Shisha as well.

After deciding what we wanted we pressed the call button and our server was there to take our order.

In the meantime the entire dining hall was full. Every table was taken .  We got our food in around 15-20 minutes .

It was my first time at Haze Lounge and trust me I was impressed by the presentation and serving size they had.

Our first dish was ASIAN FRIED CALAMARI .

This was different then regular Calamari due to the sweet and sour sauce they had it covered in…. I loved the blend. Very nicely fried and the sauce did complete justice to it. Served with a garden salad and a lemon.

The next one was PORTOBELLO CHICKEN with mashed potatoes.

The chicken was very tender and nicely cooked. The mashed potatoes blended well with the meal. A huge serving.
Moving on to the next one CHICKEN PARMIGIANA .

There were 2 options either get it with regular garlic bread or pay extra 1.50 and make it cheesy garlic bread. I went with the cheesy garlic bread, which tasted a amazing and was hot and freshly baked. The breaded chicken piece was a big one garnished with the Parmesan and the pasta cooked in tomato sauce. I was impressed by this huge portion. I was not able to finish the entire plate. But I tell you it’s simply the most delicious pasta I have had so far!!

The most unique item on the menu was the DOUBLE-DECKER CLUBHOUSE .I have never had something like this in my life!! This sandwich was just so mouth watering!!! It was served with fries. It consisted of chicken fillet, egg, beef bacon (halal) ,cheese  and salad. Pictures don’t do justice to it at all!!! For the price of 13$ this was just a mind blowing deal really!!

Moving on to the dessert, whereas mind you we were already full after these huge meals we decided to order the CHOCOLATE FONDUE .

Indulge yourself in chocolate with a mixture and variety of fruits, banana, strawberry ,pineapple 🍌🍓🍍. Along with the marshmallows and chocolate wafers. The warm melted chocolate was just heavenly!!!! Indeed a nice dessert to finish off the meal with!!

After having all this we were too full and couldn’t order anymore!!

There was a line up for more people at the door. I would totally recommend this place as the variety of food they have is amazing 👍🏻 from shawarma to pasta, from pizza to sandwiches and from shisha to various drinks!!! A must go place.

Service, quality , quantity and atmosphere all were very pleasant ☺️ Each time we pressed our call button our server was present 👍🏻Truly happy campers we were!!!

Indeed this quote says it all!!! Very well defined! We in our daily life come across several situations where others may require our assistance, may it be at work, home or in our society. Some of us choose to go beyond an extra mile and help others. And that’s what makes us different then others!
Niators feel that there is a super hero hidden in everyone, it’s just the urge to find that hero. Together with our amazing team we can discover that. Our organization is a great combination of honourable advisory board and board of directors who are working in professional fields and are striving to achieve the same goal which is to bing a positive change. 
Thinking about all this, a few individuals came across a suggestion and created an organization named NIATORS. A group of young professionals people working together to unite the community and support them in terms of different programs. A group that has people of different fields but with one same goal that is to help.
I am proud to be a part of this wonderful group which gives me an ability to utilize my skills and help the community

As one of our first ventures, Team NIATORS is organizing a back to school drive this August. This drive basically supports those in need who are going back to school this September but have no means to start their new year with brand new stationary and school supplies. Everyone has a right to start off their year with happiness and joy but this also means that people in need cannot be ignored ! Our Team is currently working on this project and together we shall be successful In accomplishing our target … 

We want to make a change, a change that no one has provided , spread smiles, happiness, unite families and our strong belief is that together with our communities support we can do it
Our goal is simple and sweet help people in need and also have some fun during our events

Visit to Fairmount Royal York

Hello my lovely friends ❤️ here I am back sharing my experience of my visit to The Fairmount Royal York🏙

Once a year I love to explore this hotel, I know it sounds crazy but each time I go back I want to come back again and again, at times I think I should be residing in downtown Toronto so I can visit this place very often. Oh well it’s charm has brought me to visit it again 👌🏼👌🏼

So this past weekend decided to meet my friend in downtown and like always we chose Royal York to spend our afternoon together 😌

I am totally in love with the staircase they have, year after year there is this mandatory picture I need from there… Which truly defines how beautiful it looks .

Anyway there is no way we would visit Royal York and not visit the Epic Restaurant in the hotel . It is famous for its wonderful food and mouth scrumptious desserts.

From delicious chocolate cake to cheese cake, there is a wide variety that will satisfy everyone’s need to have some dessert.  The best part is that your plate looks so amazing that you will think a few times before touching it if you really want to spoil that art work that is present in your plate 😌 I am not satisfied until unless I take a few pictures and snaps before eating !

So we decided to get the chocolate fudge brownie. Delicious little piece served with a variety of fruits that are dipped in syrup. And covered with whipped cream. The most lovely part is that they sometimes customize your plate😌 as on my plate then was a smile 🙂 which looked as amazing as the brownie tasted 👌🏼👌🏼 it was so soft that it would melt in your mouth!!



My strawberry smoothie with chocolate pastry and mini cheese cake was just too amazing 👌🏼

The mini chocolate cup cake with biscotti and fruits was a very lovely combo .A crisp biscotti and cupcake served with fresh whipped cream ☺️

I must say it is a must visit place 👌🏼☺️

Visit to Bliss Dessert Cafe and Bistro

So people who know me well, know that I am fond of different food places and love to explore nice cusines. 

I love to have crepe but only with chocolate and strawberries. Who would think there are savoury crepes being offered that would totally taste as best as your Nutella and strawberry 🤔

Keeping all this in mind I came across a place called Bliss Dessert Cafe and Bistro, which was actually referred by a very good friend of mine ☺️

So one evening we decided to go there for our team building meeting … We got the bigger table as it was quite a few of us. 

The seating was very comfortable and the place was clean and well decorated. Once we settled down the server approached us and asked us for drinks, they had a wide variety of fresh juices to lattes.

So we ordered a strawberry -banana smoothie and a Matcha Green Tea. These drinks were no doubt very rich, creamy and refreshing…. Totally worth the price which was approx $6 each.

The next big and inportant decision was what to eat… As said I have never tried savoury crepe so wanted to give this a try. 

After a lot of thinking I ordered Chicken and Shrimp Crepe. It was a Freshly made crepe filled with chicken breast, mushroom, shrimp and spinach with lightly melted mozzarella and finished with a rich creamy mushroom sauce….. Served with the best Caesar salad…. The both items were simply amazing and fulfilling…

My friend ordered Chipotle chicken crepe, again a fresh crepe filled with chicken breast, mushrooms, red peppers, onion, corn ,with lightly melted mozzarella and finished with chipotle sauce. And a Caesar salad as the side. It was simply delicious… 

They also had pizza, butter chicken crepes and a lot more.

One thing I forgot to mention is that they are HALAL ☺️ 

Then came the most important part ☺️the desserts. Omg they had a huge variety … We didn’t know what to choose and what to leave 🤔 anyway we decided to order a few of them.

So the first one was called IRREPLACEABLE 👌🏼really it was true…. Crepe covered with vanilla ice cream topped with strawberries served with strawberry sauce 👌🏼

The other dessert Dulce de Leche Cheesecake , Beatiful Spanish Caramel cheesecake with a layer of dulce de Leche mousse and swirls on top, served with vanilla ice cream🍨

Nothing is complete without a New York cheese cake so here they call it NEW YOUR CHEESECAKE 🍰 light and airy shortbread crust filled with rich, creamy cheese cake topped with either strawberry sauce or milk chocolate curls and fudge sauce….. Simply melts in your mouth…. Warning cannot resist ☺️

Last but not the least dessert treat isn’t complete without waffle 🙂 so ordered ONE DAY SWEET 🍓🍓🍨 a freshly made huge hot waffle topped with vanilla ice cream, fresh strawberries and strawberry sauce on the side ….. Truly a great combination of hot and cold….. 

This is a must visit place, the food, ambiance, service is excellent. And it’s certainly worth the price ☺️

Will definately go back with family ❤️

Watan kabob

So Tuesday night me and one of my best friends decided to meet after a long time.. We wanted to share a good talk and have a nice meal together.

I personally prefer less spicy food (in my moms terminology since I was born in Britain I am a full Gori now ☺️) I take that as a compliment 🙏🏼

Anyway we came to a conclusion to head to Watan Kabob in Mississauga.

Just a quick heads up this place is always full , it’s the amazing food they offer. We decided to order the new dish on their menu called MANTOO it looked amazing in the pictures posted all over the restaurant, Along with that my friend decided to get chaplee kabab meal where as I got the Chicken Kofta Kabob meal , plus for dessert we ordered the traditional Afghani Firnee👌🏼

After placing the order we were able to find place to sit  in a couple of minutes .

Our order arrived in around 15 minutes.

The MANTOO is a traditional dumpling filled with mince meat and garnished with Split Bengal gram ( Chana Daal) and dried mint leaves plus some youghurt.  It is a huge serving which consists of 5 pieces . And the blend of dumpling with the mincemeat plus Split Bengal gram is just amazing. When served it was super hot and that enriched the flavour and the aroma cannot be defined in words ☺️ it is a must try item

The next dish was the chaplee meal, again the portions are amazing and the meal was served with Afghani Rice, naan and 2 Chaplee kabobs. Not too spicy but had a rich flavour to them.

The Chicken Kofta kabob was the most tender kabob I ever had but with a blend of spices, but not as spicy as the Chaplee , so it’s good for people who prefer to eat less spices ☺️ Also choose a side of Afghan Salad which was really refreshing and was a mix of tomatoes,onion , cucumber , lettuce and black olives.

Lastly dessert Firnee 😌 my meal isn’t complete without having this as this is the most sweet and delicious thing on their menu . With a sprinkle of some pistachios completes it perfectly 👍🏻

I would totally recommend this place. Go and try them , they have a wide selection of other items too👌🏼👍🏻🙏🏼

Father’s Day

June 19,2016 marks the Father’s Day ❤️

Happy Father’s Day!!

A dad is someone who holds you when you cry,scolds you when you break the rules,shines with pride when you succeed,and has faith in you even when you fail…😘 He is someone who holds your finger and teaches you how to walk, who gives you everything before you even ask, who is there for you when you when you don’t even call him…. 

Wishing a vey happy Father’s Day to my handsome dad😘 Thank you dad for being there with me in every walk of my life, for supporting me through out when times were tough, when I didn’t believe in my self you gave me hope and believed in me! You gave me the strength to be strong, your love, care, support made me a better person💕 where I am today is all due to you! This wouldn’t be possible without your encouragement 😘

Want to know why I can make you laugh sometimes? Because I grew up with my dad laughing at my silly jokes. Want to know why I keep writing? Because my dad always told me I had talent, even when I didn’t. I still recall how happy he got whenever he would see my articles being published in the ArabNews or Saudi Gazette. And bring me 2 copies to keep with me as my record. My writing skills are inherited by you dad, I feel proud that I can follow your footsteps and write ☺️

My dad has travelled over 35 countries over the world and each time he would come back from his trips he would bring souvenirs, cloths, key chains and chocolates. Most important I have a hugeeee post card collection of different countries and ofcourse that’s thanks to dad 😎over 600 post cards that are just mine ☺️

There is no person that I have known whose met dad and not liked him …. From young to old , relatives to strangers dad leaves an impression that one wants to spend more time with him 😎

My dad has never hesitated to hug me, or tell me tell me that he loved me. When he was disappointed or angry, he definitely let me know, but when was proud, he never hesitated to tell me. And that made all the difference.

In short he’s the most caring person who loves his family 💕, friends ,relatives , co-workers , he has worked very hard all his life to make his family happy and Dad you have given us the best life 😘

Pictures make memories and believe me my picture obsession is due to dad too ☺️he’s got a collection of pictures from his university time till now 😎 One thing he is not too fond of is to take selfies which I always keep dragging him into 😀 sorry dad but you look amazing anyway😘

Halal Food festival (Celebration Square)

On June 4, Halal Food Festival took place in the Mississauga Celebration Square.

The entire celebration was set up with a lot of  halal food, clothes, accessories and various other stalls. By the time we arrived at the celebration square it was packed with people of all age, race and religion. We decided to make a round around the stalls to see what is being offered. There was a wide variety of food in which there was chaat papri, goal gappay, Haleem, burger, traditional bun kabab and a lot of other things. 

The burgers were being freshly made on the spot. There were huge line ups for the freshly made burger.

Another amazing thing that I would never try on daily basis was delicious well cooked Haleem. It was being stirred in huge pot and was being served as a combo with Naan and a drink. The individual bowl was very nicely served with dhania,green chilli , brown onions and some chaat masala. I enjoyed every bite of it.

Moving on what I saw was the traditional Gola Ganda ( flavoured ice dessert), it really reminded me of the times I would spend in Karachi and enjoy that with my cousins. It was so beautifully coloured that it fascinated several kids and they wanted to have that instead of the regular ice cream.

Moving further we came across the worlds best mangoes 😌 Omg it was so good to see the sweetest mangoes being sold, they also offered mango shake and were selling a box of Pakistani Aam (mango) I simply couldn’t resist and had to get one box to take home. And honestly it was the best decision 👌🏼they were sweet as honey! Just as their name Honey Mango! Also there was a mango eating competition organized for the people.

There was one amazing thing which was eye catching the twiste tatters 👌🏼👌🏼 we really wanted to try so we chose the Buffalo flavour which was actually a bit spicy for my taste, but overall was nicely done.  A very nice food to snack on , made of potatoes, deeply fried. It’s normally found in carnivals or on food trucks.

The food that would always draw my attention was the grilled corn on the cob which was being sold there with a hint of chaat masala and lemon. Very desi touch! 

There was live entertainment which also included a performance by a very famous Pakistani singer Jawad Ahmed. 

It was a great festival which was filled with fun, food and also gave a chance to shop for traditional outfits! Everyone should look forward to attend this every year! 

Mother’s Day

May 8,2016 marks the Mother’s Day In the world .

Mother is someone who loves you unconditionally💕 who wants to see you happy in life and take away all your pains. She is the one who fell in love with you even without seeing you. She is the most closest person to you. Young or old whenever a person is in pain they call out for thier mom!!

I am blessed to have a mom who is the most beautiful person ever. Her humbleness makes her such a unique person. My mom is no doubt a Queen☺️She is the one who has helped,supported, encouraged me no matter what. My growth and establishment is all due to her😚 She has taught me how to overcome sadness and how to be a happy person. 

I have learnt a lot from you mom. You never lost hope or let anyone loose hope. You went through so much pain but even then you were smiling and fought that bad time happily . You are a super hero for me. I can’t thank enough. I am truly blessed to have you in my life. I love how you care about my health, about my work and the wonderful food you make 🙆I honestly think you should open a restaurant 👌🏼 Whenever I am in trouble your prayers make my life easy🤗

On this Mother’s Day I want to tell you how much I love you💞 You have made me a better person , no matter where ever I am I always need you in my life 😘 I LOVE YOU MOM 😍 lots of love 💙💚 These beautiful flowers are for you 💐

What is life 🙄

What is life. So I wake up this morning and think what life really is 🤔 I have been trying to discover the real meaning of life, but despite of very long I still cannot come up to a conclusion about the true meaning. 
“The meaning of life is to find your gift, the purpose of life is to give it away.” Says Joy J. Golliver
I think he has given the best description of life , life is all about give and take. Nothing is just giving or just taking. 
As a human we always are in a cycle of giving and receiving, may it be in form of help, support , assistence etc.
But really is this all what life is about. In my honest opinion there is a lot associated with this life. We wake up, go to work, spend time with our loved ones, we pass we fail we are happy and sad we love and hate. All this phenomena is a part and parcel of life.
We all dream about a good life and believe me it’s totally on us on how our lives are, we are the author of our own book of life. So it’s up to us as to how we decorate and script it. No one will live our part but us. 
So let’s all be positive in life and love our lives 🙆 And I promise one positive thought will change someone’s life and bring a smile 😌😚
